GYM SCHEDULE
The current CrossFit TakeOver First Landing schedule is posted under the Schedule tab on the top of this page. Once there you will have to filter classes for the First Landing location. While looking at the past Valiant CrossFit schedule we tried our best to keep the popular class times going. Some classes were changed to best serve the community and keep classes full, fun and exciting. The schedule is always open for improvement so please let us know your opinion!
PRICING
All Valiant Members will be locked into their current monthly membership rate. There will be no price increases and all remaining punch card visits will be honored. You are also allowed to attend classes at both locations for no additional cost. We charge all members on either the 1st or 15th of the month through our Mindbody payment system. PROGRAMMING
Our London Bridge and First Landing locations will follow the same programming. This is to allow for members to train at both gyms without any issues. We also believe in the effectiveness and originality of our programming and want both gyms to benefit from a cohesive program. Workouts can be found on the website and from the SugarWOD app at no cost to you.
COACHES
The First Landing general manager & head Coach Erin Sleigh will be coaching a healthy dose of the classes. Coach Lou, Coach Regan and TakeOver owners Ryan and Andy will be on the schedule as well. You may also see any one of the other TakeOver and Valiant Coaching staff from time to time. Each coach brings a unique personality and skill set to their classes and we’re excited about the growing team!

OUR STORY

CrossFit TakeOver was started in March of 2010 by Ryan and Andy, with the goal of building a community of like-minded individuals that wanted to train hard and have fun. The two friends already had several years of CrossFit training and coaching experience under their belts by the time they opened their 1,000 square foot facility. Over the years the gym has expanded to two locations serving several hundred members and a dozen experienced coaches.

Although we have grown quite a bit since the early days, special emphasis has been placed on maintaining a tight community where group interaction and encouragement is of the highest importance. We take pride in the fact that our community at TakeOver is made up of members from all different types of fitness and athletic backgrounds. A regular class is often comprised of former or current competitive athletes, grandparents and retirees, military personnel and business professionals. Although their abilities and goals may differ they all share the the same desire to improve their overall level of health and fitness.

Since day one Ryan and Andy believed that the benefits of physical training far exceed scores on a white board or changes in the mirror. The goal at TakeOver has and always will be not to just get better at CrossFit but better at life!

OUR APPROACH

CrossFit TakeOver and CrossFit TakeOver First Landing are general strength and conditioning programs suitable for all fitness levels and backgrounds. Our workouts consist of constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. This means that our workouts are always seemingly different and not the same old gym routine.

We use natural movement patterns such as pulling, pushing, squatting, and jumping to improve our overall fitness. Lastly, most workouts are done quickly and rarely last over 20 minutes. In fact our classes run in 60-minute blocks throughout the day ensuring that you can find time to join us no matter what your day throws at you. 

Every workout we prescribe is completely scalable, which means that the most veteran and newest athlete can do the same workout with small adjustments. CrossFit in general is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for all individuals regardless of experience.

Whether you’re starting CrossFit to increase your overall fitness or to supplement your sport of choice, our program will deliver phenomenal results.
